  1. Was lovely to read all the stories of parents and their children. I have a daughter, Jenny, who was diagnosed low functioning autistic at 3 years old and was basically told she would not fare well in life or academics, was pretty bleak. However I walked out of there saying, That is not going to happen and can humbly say that Jenny just turned 23 years old and is a professional 2D and 3D Animator and also published her first novel, Dysnomia, first of a Trilogy and is a best seller. I would love to invite you and other families that you know to our book event tomorrow, Friday April 25th from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm at VANCITY on 501 West 10th Avenue and Cambie. Jenny and I would look forward to meeting you all and chatting about our experiences with Autism. I wrote a book about Jenny life journey with it, called The Autistic Author and Animator. We have a ad in the Metro Paper today about it. Lovely to get the support from VANCITY to have it in their big lobby area. Love it if you could stop by. Best, Janet Walmsley and Jenny
