Behaviour Consultant: Whitney Larzerele (BCaBA)

Hours Required: Mon, Tue and Thu 3:30-6:00.

Any additional relevant information or special requirements: We are looking to hire an additional enthusiastic and hard working individuals to join our behaviour intervention team. This is an ideal job for students interested in teaching, behaviour intervention, special education or counselling, or individuals who have experience working with kids with disabilities. You would be working under the direction of a behaviour consultant, ocupational therapist and speech language pathologist. You will also receive all initial and ongoing staff training.

We are looking for individuals who are detail oriented, are able to multi-task and have fun working with children. Dedication to learning new skills, receiving hands on training and ongoing feedback is required.

Position details: Looking to fill 3 home intervention sessions per week: Monday / Tues and Thurs afternoons.

Sessions are 2.5 hours in length; 3:30-6pm Every three months we have a team meeting that runs during session time. Possibility of more hours with different clients in same area if candidate is interested.

Please note that training days will vary from the session days listed above, as they are based on the consultant’s availability.

Interviews beginning next week; training to commence end of January.

How to implement different schedules of reinforcement

How to put into practice Behaviour Management Plans

How to effectively teach children with developmental disabilities
