We are looking for BIs to join our energetic team and work with our 2.5 yrs old son. He is a very social little boy who is bright, verbal, and learns very fast. He also loves the outdoors.

Our consultant is Michele Shilvock is BCBA and creates all the programs for us and provides ongoing supervision and training, so this would be a great opportunity for applicants who welcome frequent overlaps and opportunities to further develop their skills. This is an opportunity to work on a team structured in natural environment teaching, developmental approach rooted in ABA principles.

Applicants with early child education or ABA experience are preferred but we WILL also consider well motivated and not experienced applicants as well. We have 2 hr sessions in the mornings available. Salary is negotiable and based on experience.

You must be dependable and long term commitment is preferable and minimum of 2-3 shifts per week and be able to attend team meetings.

Looking for a BI to work with our 4 year old son with high functioning ASD. In September, some work will be done at preschool as well as at home. Potential to go to kindergarten in 2018 with him. ABA experience an asset, but not necessarily required as training and support will be provided. Must have strong play skills and lots of energy.

Summer Support Worker/Behavioral Interventionist

Looking for a support worker/BI to attend various day camps with high functioning, nine year old boy with ASD during the month of August.
Applicant would preferably work as a special education assistant and/or work as a BI and have experience with ABA programs. You would be trained by our consultants and follow their program. It would count as ABA hours.

The camps are varied and include some sports,swimming, and crafts. Some are 9-12, some 9-3. Most would be at Walnut Grove community centre or Fort Langley.

Hours Required: 2.5-3 hrs two to three mornings a week.

Any additional relevant information or special requirements: BI required to assist 3 year old in pre-school/daycare twice a week and possibly one extra morning or afternoon at home. Sweet, happy little boy needs a gentle, soft spoken person who is calm with at least one year experience.

A criminal record check MUST be provided.

Valid BC drivers licence and own vehicle required.

Must be able to work independently while following team’s plan of intervention.

A commitment of a full school year is essential.

Position to start mid June until end of June 2018 if the candidate is a good fit for the family.

Behaviour Consultant: Elisa Hill

Hours Required: 1-3 hours a few days a week after school (4-6 or 7)

Any additional relevant information or special requirements: Looking for a fun and reliable behaviour interventionists to work with a 15 year old boy with ASD.. He is a kind and friendly boy that currently needs to learn some social skills and responsibilities. His interests include drawing, Lego, rugby and playing the guitar. Experience is preferred, but not necessary.

We are looking for applicants that are:

-Able to work independently while still being a part of the team

-Are able take constructive feedback and implement changes

-Are at least 19 years old with a clear criminal record check

-Are able to multitask, take accurate data, and be playful

-Responsible and reliable

-Can commit to at least a 6 month term
