Behaviour Consultant: Fawkes Academy – ABA Learning Centre

Hours Required:

Behavioural Interventionist needed for 11 year old boy (low behavioural issues)
Summer 2017 Hours: July 8th – August 17th: 3pm – 5:30/6pm; 2-4 days per week (it depends on the Candidate). No Mondays required.

School Year: 1pm – 5:30/6pm Tues- Friday. No Mondays required.

Any additional relevant information or special requirements:

Owning your own vehicle is required. The summer position can morph into the “school year” position or they can be separate. I would prefer continuous care but it is not necessary.
Summer Hours: The job includes Pick-up after Summer Fun Camp (N. Delta) and return to N. Delta home (5 blocks away). Hours are 3pm – 5:30/6pm (depending on traffic). Ideally the sessions would be 4 times per week (Tues, Wed, Thur, Frid) but a 2 or 3 day per week option can be looked at.
School Hours: Tues – Fri: 1pm – 5:30/6pm. Pick-up in Richmond (Graybar Rd) required and return to the N. Delta family home.

Location of Job: North Delta

Behaviour Consultant: Lindsay Parrott, MEd, BCBA

Hours Required: 2-3 times a week for 1.5 to 2.5 hours (depending on hourly wage, it may be more or less). We are quite flexible in days, with the exception of Mondays and can plan for morning or afternoon meetings. We are also looking to have our BI visit our son’s preschool and assist and implement our methods and lessons in that environment. Attendance of all team meetings are required, once a month.

We are looking for a SBI and BI to join our home team. Our son is 4 years old and is currently in preschool. He is on the Autism Spectrum and is high-functioning. He also has a speech delay. He is sweet, loveable and eager to learn through play. He is a visual and quick learner and responds well to outgoing and fun people!

The candidate must be flexible, have experience with children with autism, experience with ABA a plus but not required, able to work efficiently and well on their own. Being proactive is an asset too!

Please have a criminal record check available. Must be 19 years old or older. Wage will be determined based on qualifications and experience and the candidate must be willing to commit for 12 months.

Our goals for our son include working on social skills, conversation, play skills, academics & teaching appropriate/expected behaviour.
